Enemy or Ally?

In life it is important to pay attention to who you're listening to. Many times, your enemy will tell you the things you want to hear, and your ally the things you don't. But your enemy's advice will destroy you, and your ally's advice will save you.

It is so funny, I have been having that verse going through my head the last couple of days - the strike of a friend is sweeter than the kiss of an enemy. I really like the way you phrased it though, it made me think.
